Ephemera
Our collection of Ephemera consists of many thousands of pieces covering the 1850s through 1934, and includes Posters, Broadsides, Advertisements, Brochures, Passenger Lists, Deck Plans, The Atlantic Extra, Atlantic Daily Bulletin, Ocean Times, Ticklish Times, White Star Magazine, Log Abstracts, Postcards, Envelopes, Stationary, Menus, Calendars, Leaflets, Sailing Schedules, Newspaper Sailing Ads beginning 1849, and much more.
Shipboard Items
Our collection of shipboard items covers the 1850s to 1934, and consists of Souvenirs, Crew items, Complete China and Silver Service from all Classes and dating the 1870s onwards, Ship Fittings of all types dating the 1850s onwards, Furniture, Cabin and Stateroom items, and much more. We also have items from Harland & Wolff, and other companies related to the building of some of the greatest White Star Line Ships.
Photographs and Prints
We have an extensive collection of rare period photographs, and prints of early White Star Line ships, Captains, Managers, and Owners. We also have a huge collection of rare photo's and glass slides of Harland & Wolff Shipyard, Old Belfast, Liverpool, and many other subjects related to the history of the White Star Line. Plans and Drawings
Our collection includes Sheer, Body, and Rigging Plans for many early White Star ships, and Engineering Plans for ships during the Ismay years. We have Accommodation Plans from postcards, passenger handouts issued by the company, and a collection of plans for the machinery used aboard the ships. Additionally, we have period drawings of Early Docks used by the ships.
