Newsroom

Welcome to the White Star Line Memorial Foundation’s Newsroom. In this area news media can find the latest press releases and will offer media kits with general information on the White Star Line Memorial Foundation. An image gallery offers a selection of thumbnail images providing a small sampling of high resolution images available to news media for their use.

The White Star Line Memorial Foundation’s Communications Department can assist journalists looking for information about the White Star Line Memorial Foundation, its exhibitions, research activities, or special events, and in coordinating interviews or photo/television shoots.

For more information, please contact the Communications Department. Requests for photos by non-news media outlets will be directed to the White Star Line Memorial Foundation’s Rights and Reproductions Department (i.e. commercial use, academic reports, books, etc.). Requests for new filming or photography not related to publicity of the White Star Line Memorial Foundation or its exhibitions will be directed to Hospitality & Commercial Services (i.e. commercials, movies, etc.).

Please assist us by using ourĀ contact form when making requests.

All filming and photo shoots using tripods or light-stands must be cleared with our partners and associates, and may need to be accompanied at all times by a member or representative from the White Star Line Memorial Foundation, its partners and associates. Filming or photography shoots may also require us to secure approval by other Museum departments, and are generally scheduled on weekdays, during regular business hours. Published images of the White Star Line Memorial Foundation or footage must be accompanied by appropriate credit lines. Location scouting or pre-filming/photography meetings may be required to assess the physical site requirements.
