The White Star
Line Memorial Foundation has an extensive
collection of newspapers from the U.S., British,
Australian, and other locations spanning the
history of the White Star Line from the years 1845
to 1935. We also have photographs, engravings,
illustrations, and other representations of
many of the ships, as well as passenger lists and
other documents.
We do not
provide genealogical research other than to attempt
to confirm a given person was aboard a given vessel
on a given voyage/date.
Please keep in
mind that our purpose is to raise funds for
charities and provide educational programs. Given
the high volume of requests it is necessary for us
to charge a minimal fee to offset the time spent
researching materials for individuals.
Our fees are as
follows:
$10.00 per hour
search fee. Most searches take no more than one
hour.
Copies of
documents or other items in our archives/collection
are as follows:
$20 per
photograph/illustration.
$1 per copy of
any document or newspaper article.

other than personal use must have the expressed
written consent of the White Star Line Memorial
Foundation. Our providing images and/or documents
to you does not in any way express our consent to

Information and copies provided are not to be
reproduced in any manner, for any purpose, without
our expressed consent.
Please be sure
to include as much information as possible with
your request. All information, no matter how
insignificant it might seem, can greatly expedite
the search which saves the person doing the search
time which saves you money.
While our
archives are extensive, there is no guarantee that
we will be able to find any information you
request.
The first hour
fee ($10.00) must be paid in advance of any search
conducted. Once we have completed a search, you
will be contacted with a total amount due on
information found.

After you submit your request, you will be
contacted and provided with information to submit
your first hours fee. It may be several days before
you are contacted given the high volumes of
requests we receive. All requests are conducted in
the order they are received.
